Norfolk Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service
We offer expert assessment and management of communication and swallowing problems associated with ageing, stroke, mental health and progressive neurological conditions.
We see clients in hospital, at outpatient clinics, in care homes and, where necessary, at home.

Referral
For assistance with communication difficulties, we accept referrals from:
- patients (self-referral)
- healthcare professionals
- friends or family or the patient
For swallowing difficulties, we accept referrals from healthcare professionals.
Eligibility
We will not accept referrals for children, adults with voice problems, adults with head and neck cancer or adults who require more specialist support for their needs linked to a learning difficulty or disability.
