NHS staff uniforms

Norfolk Adult Community Healthcare Services have adopted the national NHS uniform.

During your time with our services, you may meet different staff members who are involved in your care. Different professions have a specific colour of uniform. This will make it easier for you to identify the roles of those caring for you.

The uniforms unite all professions in the same uniform across the NHS. They are also more environmentally sustainable, will save the Trust money, and are cooler and more comfortable to wear.

Nursing and pharmacy uniforms

Head of department - Black with a red trim.

Advanced clinical practitioner - Dark red with a navy trim.

Advanced nurse practitioner - Navy with dark red trim.

Enhanced practitioner - Royal blue with navy trim.

Phlebotomists - Eau-de-nil with navy trim.

Team leader - Navy with navy trim.

Matron - Purple with navy trim.

Registered nurse - Hospital blue with navy trim.

Nursing associate - Sky blue with sky blue trim.

Healthcare assistant (HCA) or support worker - Lilac with navy trim.

Rehab technician - Sherwood green with navy trim.

Pharmacist - Bottle green with navy trim.

Student - Cloud blue with navy trim.

Allied Health Professionals (AHP) uniforms

Occupational therapist - White with bottle green trim.

Physiotherapist - White with navy trim.

Speech and language therapist - Ruby with postman blue trim.

Podiatry - Ruby with navy trim.

Dietitian - Ruby with hospital blue trim.
