Luton Phlebotomy Service
Our Luton Phlebotomy Service is based at the Luton Treatment Centre. We provide a high quality standard of phlebotomy to the adult population of Luton residents registered with a Luton GP.
The Luton Community Phlebotomy Service has 2 elements:
- Clinic based phlebotomy service for patients registered with Luton GPs.
- Domiciliary (home based) phlebotomy service for housebound patients registered with Luton GPs.
This service is for all adults aged 18 years old and over registered with a GP in the Luton.
Domiciliary phlebotomy service
The phlebotomists will visit patients in their own homes, including residential homes.
Residents aged 18 and over registered with GPs in the Luton area and are housebound. This may be due to a physical or medical condition and can be long term or could be during an episode of short-term illness.
First appointments only for this service need to be booked by the health care professional but then the patient can then book all subsequent appointments.
This service is available Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Please note, on Fridays no INR tests will be taken.
