Bedfordshire and Luton Home Enteral Tube Feeding Service

Enteral tube feeding, also known as tube feeding is used when someone is not able to get enough nutrients from their oral diet alone.

Our team of specialist dietitians and dietetic support workers work with tube fed adults in Luton and South Bedfordshire. We provide personalised feeding plans to ensure adults meet their nutritional needs.

We provide assessment and continuing support for patients with enteral feeding in the community. Patients are seen in an appropriate community setting or at home.

Enteral feeding or tube feeding involves providing liquid nutrition to patients who are unable to meet their nutritional requirements from oral diet. Our service is here to make sure your diet plan is suitable for you and meets your nutrition and hydration needs.

A company called Nutricia Homeward supply our patients with regular deliveries of their feed and equipment. Nutricia Homeward also provide a nursing service to support with equipment and tube care.

Some of our patients will have their feeding tube supplied by Vygon.
