Make a Difference as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN)

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust is recruiting Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (SCPHN) to join its teams across the region, offering a rewarding career with the opportunity to make a real difference.

This is an exciting opportunity for student nurses who are passionate about supporting children, young people and families to move into a role where they can make a real and lasting difference within their community.

As a student SCPHN in school nursing or health visiting, you will work with families at key stages of their lives, providing early support, promoting wellbeing and helping to improve outcomes for children and young people.

We are proud to offer a supportive working environment where colleagues feel valued and empowered.

In fact, 91.8% of our staff say their role makes a difference to patients and service users, and over 74% would recommend our Trust as a place to work.

The impact of this work is reflected in the feedback we receive from families:

“I felt truly listened to. The Health Visitor was kind and thoughtful, offering reassuring support and practical advice on sleep.”

“My health visitor is supportive and a great listener, offering helpful advice, local information and ongoing support when I need it.”

As one of our Health Visitors shares:

“Being a Health Visitor is incredibly rewarding. I love building relationships with families and knowing I am making a real difference to children’s lives every day.”

We have SCPHN opportunities across the East of England, offering you the chance to grow your career while making a real difference close to home. Join us and be part of a team that is improving lives, every day.
