Nina, Infant Feeding Lead for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, has recently appeared as a guest expert on the Baby Fact Check podcast hosted by Greg Foot. The podcast, created by Greg, well known for the BBC’s Sliced Bread aims to cut through the overwhelming volume of parenting advice and explore what is evidence-based and what may simply be myth.
Nina contributed to two episodes tackling common concerns for new parents. In “What really helps a gassy baby?” she discusses practical approaches to managing wind and colic, including burping techniques and the role of maternal diet. In “Will a bottle ruin breastfeeding?” she explores topics such as “nipple confusion”, sleep hormones, and the impact of formula feeding at bedtime.
Nina represented local services brilliantly, sharing clear, evidence-based guidance in a warm and accessible way. Her contribution highlights the high standard of infant feeding support available across our children’s services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Thank you Nina!
