Recognition for EEC at first Norfolk & Suffolk ICB Health and Care Expo Awards
- Awards
Friday 3rd July was the first annual Norfolk and Suffolk ICB Health and Care Expo: a new event to bring together healthcare professionals from across for knowledge sharing, networking, and celebration.
Colleagues from our Norfolk Children's and Young People's Services hosted a stand in the Expo's Neighbourhood zone to showcase our digital support platforms, Just One Norfolk and FYI. They were joined by some of our Family Nurses, who were shortlisted for an award at the event.
On the next stand, one of our Physiotherapy Managers, Hanna, showcased a collaborative falls prevention project.
Balance in Action is a physio-led exercise and education group for patients who are at risk of falling. In collaboration with the ICB, the Norwich Community Physio team run the relaxed but informative sessions to help reduce the risk of falling and keep patients out of hospital.
The Trust also performed outstandingly at the awards section of Friday's event. Five of our teams were nominated for awards at the Norfolk and Suffolk Health and Care Expo, and they all received either a runners-up award, or commended certificate.
Here are the details of all our teams who were nominated and how they did. Click on the links to read case studies of the nominees on the Expo Awards website.
