Celebrating National Children’s Nurses Day
National Children’s Nurses Day, celebrated annually on 30 June is a day dedicated solely to the values, achievements, and distinctiveness of children’s nursing.
Today, we are celebrating our children’s nurses across East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust.
In a video created by the Trust’s children’s nurses in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Bedfordshire and Luton, colleagues share their personal journeys into the profession and reflect on why they love caring for children and young people. From making a difference in a child’s life during challenging times to building lasting connections with families, the messages highlight the compassion, resilience, and commitment that define children’s nursing.
