Leave a legacy
After you’ve taken care of your loved ones, pledging a gift to the NCH&C Charitable Fund is a positive way to support NHS healthcare in Norfolk. By leaving a gift in your will, you can change the lives of patients treated in our hospitals, health centres and in the community for years to come

Leave a gift in your will
Pledging just 1% of your estate to the NCH&C Charitable Fund can make a huge difference for our staff and patients. It’s a wonderful way to say thank you, give something back and help to improve the health and wellbeing of other patients and their families.
Your support could fund the latest equipment, replace tired ward furniture, and provide extra comforts like wellbeing kits for those undergoing stroke rehabilitation or receiving palliative care.
We hope that you'll consider remembering us in this way.

For significant changes to your will, we recommend consulting a solicitor or qualified professional to discuss your options. This may include redrafting your will.
The 2 most common types of gifts:
A fixed sum of money. This is known as a pecuniary gift. For example, a gift of £100 is a percuniary gift.
A percentage of the value of your estate. This is known as a residuary gift. Your estate is all your belongings, property, money, investments, and possessions. This type of gift can be from 1% to 100% of your estate.

There is no minimum amount!
We understand that everyone's circumstances are different. We are grateful for all gifts.
Any amount of money has the power to make a difference to the work we do.
Yes it will. For example, if your estate is above the Inheritance Tax threshold, and you leave at least 10% of your estate to a charity, this would reduce your Inheritance Tax rate from 40% to 36%.
Of course, Inheritance Tax can be complicated. We recommend speaking with a qualified professional if you think you may be liable for tax.
